Privacy Notice

This is the privacy notice for customers of the Farmers National Bank (FNB) of Lebanon, Kentucky. When the words “we,” “our” and “us” are used in this notice, it is referring to FNB.  When we use the words "you" and "your," we are referring to FNB consumer customers who maintain a relationship by buying or retaining FNB financial products or services including: deposit accounts, safe deposit boxes, and loans or lines of credit.

This notice will serve to inform you about the information we collect and retain about you.   It will also explain the measures we use to ensure that information is safe and secure.

For clarity, we have included below the definitions of terms used in the notice:

Nonpublic personal information means: (1) personally identifiable financial information; and (2i) any list, description, or other grouping of consumers (and publicly available information pertaining to them) that is derived using any personally identifiable financial information other than publicly available information.  Nonpublic personal information does not include: (1) publicly available information such as that information available in public government records or public directories.

Affiliate means any company that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with another company.

Nonaffiliated third party means any person except: (1) our affiliate; or (2) a person employed jointly by us and any company that is not our affiliate (but nonaffiliated third party includes the other company that jointly employs the person). 

The Information FNB Collects

We collect and maintain information about you from the following sources:

• Information you give us on applications or other forms;
• Information about your transactions with us or other parties; and
• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

Information FNB Discloses About You and Former Customers

We do NOT disclose any information about you or any former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

The Confidentiality, Security, and Integrity of Your Information

We restrict access to information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect this information.

About Children's Online Privacy

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) was passed to give parents increased control over what information is collected from their children online and how such information is used. The law applies to websites and services directed to, and which knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 13. Farmers National Bank’s website and online services are not directed to children under the age of 13, nor is information knowingly collected from them. For further information, the Federal Government has created a Web site, Kidz Privacy, aimed at educating both parents and children about the dangers of the Internet and how to browse safely.
