Letter from the President

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Farmers National Bank of Lebanon, Kentucky. Our bank was chartered in 1890 and we have been serving the needs of Lebanon and Marion County for over 100 years. As an independent community bank, our services reflect the needs of our customers.

Our bank is well capitalized with total assets of $90 million. We have two locations to serve our customers. Our main office is Main Street in the heart of downtown Lebanon and our branch is located in the Lebanon Trade Center on Campbellsville Road. Both locations are open six days a week as well as offering Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), which make it possible to offer banking service 24 hours per day. In addition, with our debit card services, banking is never far away. We offer a broad array of products including home equity and commercial loans, free checking accounts for full-time students and senior citizens, Banclub Checking Accounts, and our popular Classic Club travel program, plus many other services.

Farmers National Bank is always looking toward the future while being mindful of our past. Constant updating of technology allows us to explore new ways of serving our trade area. My family’s history of serving the bank now goes back four generations and it is our stated intention to remain a community bank where local people can be employed to serve local people. The bank is to use all available means to be competitive in its market and achieve a high quality of service which is available to all.”

My father, T.E. “Gene” Spragens, Jr., spent his entire working life at Farmers National Bank, serving as president from 1977 until his death in 2005. He was committed to the improvement of our community in all areas while looking towards the future. We are excited about the opportunities in front of us and will continue to offer new products and services to serve the needs of our customers.
